As a full service book store, we carry a selection of books in all major categories and have most bestsellers featured on the independent bestseller list. Especially well represented are children’s books, books on regional history and by southern and local authors, civil war confederate history, nautical guides and other ocean related books. We can special order any title not on hand and are happy to help you select just the right book.

Used books are located on the second floor. Hardcovers are sold for $5.00 and paperbacks are priced at 50% of the original purchase price. We accept used books for trade credit, subject to approval based on condition and number of titles on hand. We do not accept textbooks, condensed editions, or computer books. Trade credit can be applied to any purchase.

The store stocks unusual gift items including trays, vases, picture frames and serving pieces, many reflecting a coastal theme. There is a wide selection of cards for every occasion available at a wide selection of prices. We also carry notecards, emphasizing local interest and artists.
